Are you looking for a cheerful Saturday event this winter? Downtown White Bear Lake is offering a fun and exciting Winterfest on Saturday, December 9th! This yearly tradition is a great deal of enjoyment for the community and all are welcome!
The Horse-drawn Carriage Ride (at Banning Avenue and 4th Street) from 11 am – 3 pm is a fun excursion for anyone interested. Rides are free with a donation to the Food Shelf, but seats are limited and first come first serve! If you need a break from the cold, stop by the White Bear Armory to check out the Festival of Trees, hosted by the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society. Try finding Santa wandering around at the same time, rumors say he’s on the lookout for last-minute naughty or nice list names! There will be holiday carolers strolling around later in the afternoon to entertain shoppers and diners as well!
Lots of businesses are involved; enjoy the day and stop inside lots of the local shops! Tons of fun in the winter sun!
